Black Soffit Boards
Our Black Soffit Boards have a subtle woodgrain that adds interest to the finish and helps disguise the grains of dirt and cobwebs that always appear on soffit boards over time. As a flat board with one finished edge they can also be used for a variety of other applications in any building project.
Black soffit and fascia installations are popular on buildings with slate roof coverings. They also work well when used in conjunction with steel or cast iron gutters.
Coupled with our Black Ash Replacement fascia or PVC Capping Board, our range of Black Ash Soffits is the ideal finish for your Roofline Project.
Soffit is the name given to the board that runs horizontally from the back edge of the bottom of the fascia board to the top of the wall, closing off the roof space at the eaves. Soffit Boards can be plain or vented, and there is also a cost-effective hollow version which has a tongued and grooved effect to mimic timber cladding. Soffit is non load-bearing.
