How To Clean Shower Wall Panels
So you’ve installed new PVC shower panels in your shower area – great! The next thing to consider is maintenance, and thankfully keeping our PVC shower panels clean is a breeze.
In this quick article, we’ll go over the main things you need to do to keep your shower wall panels clean!
How to clean shower wall panels
For a tiled wall, the porous grout between the tiles combined with the warm, damp shower environment creates a perfect breeding ground for mould and bacteria. This makes tiled walls a high maintenance covering option, requiring regular cleaning to prevent harmful bacteria from growing.
PVC shower panels, however, do not require grouting, which means that cleaning is fast and simple. All the panels require is a quick wipe down around once a week if you want them to look squeaky clean! When you think it’s time to give them a refresh, just wash them over with some soapy water, or alternatively spray with a mild household cleaner and wipe clean.
It’s important not to use harsh cleaners like bleach on the cladding panels, as this can cause damage to the surface of the panels. The wipe-clean surface of the panels means that harsh cleaners shouldn’t be necessary anyway – our PVC panels are resistant to both bacteria and stains!
