Our 9mm Cover Boards are manufactured by FloPlast and are BBA Approved. They also carry Class 1 Fire Rating, which means that they are not easily ignitable and will not support the spread of flame.
Cover Boards should be installed over sound existing timber or a new backing board using 2 x 50mm Polytop Nails at 600mm centres (400mm centres for coloured and woodgrain boards).
FloPlast Cover Boards are measured externally. This means that when calculating what size you need, you need to make an allowance for the 9mm thickness of the bottom lip of the board. In simple terms, a 200mm board for example will cover 191mm of existing timber.
