This push fit cast iron plain socket is used to join two pipes together, or to connect a pipe to a fitting.
Each vertically installed pipe in any soil stack should always include an eared socket to give support and stability to the system. Plain sockets are usually installed on branch arms to preserve the authentic appearance of the system.
All of our push fit cast iron soil fittings are treated to a factory black two-pack gloss paint finish. The whole range is manufactured in grey cast iron to BS EN 1561.
