Our Shadow pergolas, manufactured by Nova Outdoor Living, are made from high quality weatherproof steel. The UV protection on these pergolas will provide you and your family with protection from any harmful UV rays as well as prevent the colour of the metal from fading over time.
One of the most unique aspects of Shadow pergolas is their innovative built in drainage system. Unlike many other pergolas, these will not need have their roof louvres opened in order to let the water drain. Instead, any water that lands on top of the pergola will flow into U shaped channels located in the framework. From here, the water will flow into the hollow legs of the structure and then down to the ground. Even if the louvres are opened when the roof is wet, the U channels will not allow any water to drip into the sheltered area.
It takes approximately 2 hours to build Shadow pergolas and we would recommend having 2-3 people involved in the process.
